What started as an idea for an online project towards the completion of my 2nd MA, this time in English, has taken a life of it’s own.

At first, the idea was of having a couple of online tools, such as a blog and an online directory which could be used by writers wishing to have an online presence.  Literary Web Tools and Literary Internet now introduce ten fully functional, interactive online tools available for writers, authors, poets, teachers, students, researchers, and avid readers of literature and the language arts. While work was being put into the project, six additional projects with similar web tools but for different online audiences came about, including:

1. Literary Web Tools

2. School Web Tools

3. Teachers Web Tools

4. Students Web Tools

5. ESL Web Tools

6. Seniors Web Tools

and, for the general audiences

7. Internet Web Tools

Each of these services offer 10 or more web tools and will be introduced here in the weeks to come.

These projects encompass hundreds of websites of free online services for people serious about the positive, transformative uses the internet has to offer.

For the past two months, more than four programmers from England, Bulgaria, Florida, USA, as well as Iowa, USA have put in hundreds of hours to bring these projects to fruition.  I, myself, both in the capacity of founder, sponsor, project designer, data entry operator, project manager, and who knows what else….  have spent thousands and thousands of dollars, but, more painfully, countless hours away from my family, including my five year old son in order to bring this about.

I hope you find the Literary project to be of help and interest and would appreciate hearing your constructive comments.

Thanks,

Elvis
